Three simple steps to TrustPlus-enable your craigslist, Backpage.com, and other free online classifieds posts:

[1]	Sign up for a TrustPlus account to get your username@trustplus.com address. Activate your new account via the email we will send you after you submit your registration.
[2]	When you post an ad, enter your username@trustplus.com address as your contact email (see additional tips below)
[3]	Periodically visit the Posts & Replies section of the TrustPlus site and leave reputation for the people with whom you have been interacting and transacting.

Email sent to your username@trustplus.com address — confirmations, replies to your ads — will be forwarded to your "regular" email address you provided TrustPlus during the TrustPlus sign up process. We mediate all of these emails and keep track of them for you. TrustPlus also maintains your anonymity during these email exchanges, if you like.

Note that in some posting categories, some of the free online classifieds sites allow you to have people reply to your ads directly to your email address or indirectly through the classifieds site (they "anonymize" your email address). To get the most value out of TrustPlus, you want to choose the latter option as shown in the examples below.

Additional tips for free online classified posting

• If you use the free TrustPlus Reputation Viewer browser add-on, your special trustplus.com email address can be filled in for you automatically whenever you post. It can also insert a TrustPlus "badge" in your posts that shows potential buyers your good reputation.
  
  
• If you use your trustplus.com email with an online classified login account, please be extremely careful when entering your address. If the email is entered incorrectly, TrustPlus may not be able to help you resolve the problem and you will need to get assistance from the free classified site.
  
  
• Your trustplus.com email address is a special account that can only receive messages sent via craigslist, Backpage, and other supported sites. No one can email these accounts directly, which helps to prevent spam.
